Typical Nepali cuisine has its own identity with a blend of taste from rice-based, North Indian spicy curries and sweets, to dumplings and noodles from Tibet and China. The steamy juicy momo and daal-bhat with curries, soups and achaar - staple festive foods to the locals- are typical Nepali dishes enjoyed by thousands of trekkers, tourists, and mountaineers travelling to Nepal each year.
